Art That Resonates

Memories.
Experiences.
Imagination.

“Ethereal Embrace” 30x40 Acrylic on canvas 2025 Stewart Lawrence Art || SOLD

As a contemporary acrylic painter, my artistic journey revolves around the intersection of our subconscious and conscious existence, as depicted through dreamscapes with surrealist undertones.

My work scrutinizes the interplay between memories, experiences, and imagination, exposing the vulnerability inherent in human emotions.

By leveraging a dynamic color palette and layered acrylic techniques, I strive to craft art that resonates with viewers on both visual and emotional levels, prompting reflections on emotions, dreams, and the complexities of human existence.

“I am honored to have [the painting] “Eve” in my home!

She will be the catalyst for many enlightening, deep, and enjoyable dinner conversations in the future and I anticipate that you and Julia will be guests again soon!”

Entering Lilyworld

Present series exhibited in Nabholz Workshop of The Studio Downtown

In Lilyworld, I find solace in the surreal and the unknown. This dreamscape of vibrant colors and abstracted forms is my playground, where the boundaries of reality are gently stretched.

Through dance, reflections, and unexpected juxtapositions, I invite viewers to step into a world that’s both whimsical and thought provoking.

Lilyworld is a realm where the subconscious and the conscious blend, where the beauty of the unknown is revealed in the swirling patterns and textures of my art.

As I continue to explore this world, I’m drawn to the ways in which art can transcend time and touch the hearts of those who experience it.

Commission a Piece

If you have a memory, feeling, or idea you want turned into something visual, we can start there.

My commission work follows the same layered, intuitive process — built around emotion, story, and the in-between spaces that are harder to explain but easy to feel.
