Equilibrium of Passion || SOLD
36×48 Acrylic on canvas

2026
Passion is usually chaotic, but here, the dancers have found a "still point" and a perfect balance, even while standing on precarious lily pads. A human desire - to feel passion - and yet feel safe, held, on solid ground. A difficult equilibrium to achieve in our modern world
A Gentle Breeze
48×60 Oil and acrylic on canvas
Lawrence
2025
In this mixed media painting, a graceful ballerina glides across a lily pad over tranquil waters, her white dress billowing like a vessel of innocence. Symbolically, she embodies delicate transformation and poise amid uncertainty—dancing on fragile foundations.
The lotus flowers below rise pure from murky depths, representing spiritual awakening, purity, and rebirth through adversity. Fluttering butterflies evoke metamorphosis, the soul’s fleeting beauty, and gentle renewal.
Glowing orbs drift like ethereal portals or captured light, suggesting higher consciousness, divine guidance, or moments of enlightenment suspended in time.
Bathed in warm sunset hues, the scene whispers of transcendence: a quiet journey from the earthly to the luminous, where grace blooms eternal.
Journey Across the Cosmic Waters
24×30 Acrylic on canvas
Lawrence
2025
The painting portrays a solitary figure in a wooden boat, embarking on a contemplative journey of self-discovery through the uncertainties of life. The golden sky, with its warm, radiant tones, reflects hope and the promise of a new beginning, while the cool blue lily pads beneath symbolize the depths of the subconscious and emotional introspection. A lone red flower floating on the water embodies passion and resilience, a fleeting yet striking beacon of beauty amidst the vast unknown, weaving a narrative of inner exploration and quiet optimism.
